PRP TREATMENT
Platelet Rich Plasma commonly referred as “PRP’ therapy, harnesses the body’s own healing powers to stimulate new tissue growth, giving a healthy appearance to many areas of concern. PRP face treatment is a widely used and highly effective non-surgical treatment for skin rejuvenation that produces outstanding results.PRP is a three-step medical treatment in which a person’s blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the scalp.
Stage one is to draw blood from the patient’s arm and put into a centrifuge to separate fluids of different densities.
Stage two is the separation of the blood into PRP and red blood cells
Stage three is to inject the PRP into the skin to stimulate collagen production and repair

Downtime:
There is no downtime associated PRP injections; However, after your treatment, your skin may be red or inflammed and healing time varies from patient to patient. You may also have a little swelling in some areas, which is normal and to be expected.START YOUR CONSULTATION
Commonly treated areas include around the eyes, the jaw line, cheeks forehead, nasolabial lines, marionette lines and neck.
Typically, a PRP treatment usually lasts for an hour. This time frame includes the time taken for the blood to be drawn and spun in the centrifuge, and topical numbing to be applied.
PRP improves skin texture and tone and regenerates collagen which helps reduce wrinkles and lines, improve skin texture around the delicate eye area, tackle blemishes, improve scarring and restore a healthy glow.
Following a full course of treatment (3 treatments at 4-6 week intervals) the results of PRP therapy can be expected to last up to 18 months. A one-off treatment, can be expected to last for several months.
Unfortunately not. Patients with abnormal platelet function, clotting disorders and chronic liver disease are not suitable for PRP therapy. Please remember to disclose your relevant medical history with your Doctor during your consultation.
A light numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to make the process more comfortable. Most clients only experience mild discomfort which is the result of the injections and only temporary.
Because you are using your own blood with no foreign substances, side effects are minimal. The injection process may cause some bruising, swelling and tenderness. As the platelets are the patients own there is no risk of transmissible diseases or allergic reactions. Infection risk is minimised by ensuring sterile technique and equipment
